2.4 Work Principle
The PCS realizes the bidirection conversion between inversion and rectification in grid and batteries
through three-phase full-bridge PCS. The rectification mode is that the grid charges the batteries. The
detail process is that the grid goes through EMC filtering and three-phase half-bridge rectification,
and then charges the batteries. The inversion output is that the batteries go through three-phase
half-bridge inversion and the filter of output reactance L and AC filter capacitance C, and then
connect to grid or supply power for load. And also, it can be connected to the high voltage grid of
10kV or 35kV by boost transformer.
The work principle of PCS is as shown in Figure2-9.

2.5 Work Status
The work status of PCS includes startup, run, normal halt and fault. The transform process of the
work status is as shown in Figure2-10.
