Fault
When any fault is detected, if the system is running, it will stop running immediately and disconnect
the connection with grid and load. At this status, ALARM indicator lights on, buzzer beeps and the
touch screen shows the current fault. User can manage it according to current fault and
troubleshooting.
2.6 Work Mode
The PCS contains two work modes: grid-tied mode and off-grid mode.
Grid-tied mode
At grid-tied mode, the PCS can realize the charge and discharge function.
Charge includes constant current charge and constant voltage charge.
Discharge includes constant power discharge, constant current discharge.
In addition, at the grid-tied mode, user can set the charge and discharge time through touch screen or
upper-computer.
When grid-connected, the PCS can track the grid frequency automatically, and combine with monitor
system, the PCS can realize smooth power to output, peak load shifting, adjust system frequency,
balance the load, temporary active output emergency response, temporary voltage emergency support,
improve electric quality, etc.
Off-grid mode
The off-grid function is able to stabilize the output voltage and frequency, and when the grid power
down or in independent system, the PCS can supply power for each load continuously, which
guarantee the normal production and residential electricity in emergency.
The off-grid load is not allowed to connect with electromotor. If electromotor needs to be connected,
it is necessary to add slow-start device for electromotor to start.
