Quick Start Guide

Measure frequency and period
The Model 27xx can measure frequency or period (Period = 1 / Frequency).
1.
Connections
– Connect the AC signal as shown in
A (b).
2.
Function
– Referring to
, select the Frequency or Period function:
•
Frequency – Press the FREQ key.
•
Period – Press the SHIFT key, then press FREQ (PERIOD).
3.
Select a measure range that will accommodate the expected AC input level.
4.
Reading
– Take a reading from the display.
