Optimizing performance
Factors that affect measurement performance include instrument warm-up,
display resolution, measurement speed, filter, line cycle synchronization and

Warm-up
The instrument can be used as soon as it is turned on. However, to achieve rated
accuracy, it must be allowed to warm up for at least two hours to allow internal
temperatures to stabilize. If the instrument has been exposed to extreme tempera-
tures, allow extra warm up time.
