Quick Start Guide
Integra Series 29
SCPI programming commands (math)
CALC1:FORM <name>
‘ Select calculation: <name> = MXB, PERC, REC, or NONE.
CALC1:STAT <b>
‘ Enable or disable math: <b> = ON or OFF.
CALC1:DATA?
‘ Read result of selected calculation.
mX +b
CALC1:KMAT:MMF <NRf>
‘ Set “m” factor: <NRf> = -100e6 to 100e6.
CALC1:KMAT:MBF <NRf>
‘ Set “b” factor: <NRf> = -100e6 to 100e6.
CALC1:KMAT:MUN <char>
‘ Set units: <char> = ‘A’ through ‘Z’ , ‘a’ through ‘z’, ‘[‘ (W
‘ symbol), or ‘\’ (° symbol).
Percent
CALC1:KMAT:PER <NRf>
‘ Set reference: <NRf> = -4294967295 to +4294967295.
CALC1:KMAT:PER:ACQ
‘ Use input signal as reference.
Remote programming example (percent - acquire reference)
Apply the signal that you wish to use as the reference for the Percent calculation,
and continue as follows:
INIT:CONT OFF
‘ Disables continuous initiation.
TRIG:COUN 1
‘ Sets trigger count to one.
INIT
‘ Measures input signal.
CALC1:FORM PERC
‘ Selects Percent calculation.
CALC1:STAT ON
‘ Enables math.
INIT
‘ Triggers one measurement.
CALC1:KMAT:PER:ACQ
‘ Uses the measured input signal as reference.
Now connect the signal to be measured, and continue as follows:
CALC1:DATA?
‘ Requests result of Percent math reading.
CALC1:STAT OFF
‘ Disables math.
NOTE
When finished with remote programming, press the LOCAL key to
restore front panel control.
Ratio and channel average
The ratio or average of two switching module channels can be calculated and dis-
played. Ratio is valid for the DCV function, and channel average is valid for DCV
and TEMP (thermocouples only).
Channel A
Ratio = —–——–—
Channel B
Channel A + Channel B
Channel Average = —–——–———–———
2
Where: Channel A is an input channel and Channel B is its paired sense channel.
