Notes
• Clean cookware in warm dishwa-
ter prior to first use. Dry thoroughly!
• When using, please note: Avoid
overheating. This can cause
bad cooking results. Medium or
low temperatures are ideal for
many dishes. Select already at the
beginning of cooking process the
desired and appropriate tempera-
ture.
Protection of the enamel
• Do not cut on the enamel layer.
This can cause unattractive
scratches and cutting marks.
• Never heat the pan for longer time
without food: Danger of overheating!

Cracked enamel and rust
• Calido is not suitable for fat-free
cooking. Before frying, distribute
the chosen fat or butter prior to
frying over the entire surface.
Please pay attention to your own
safety:
• Handles made of cast iron be
come very hot. Do not expose
yourself to hot stove plates:
Burning hazard!
Always use potholders and oven
mitts!
• To avoid accidents use only pans
with firmly attached handles.
Make sure that the pan handles
are not positioned over flames or
the front of the stove.
• When using the cookware, don‘t
leave it unattended. Keep out of
children’s reach.
• When frying, fill the pan only up
to 1/3 of its height with oil. Have a
splash guard in place for possible
grease drops.
Use on all stove types
• To avoid scratches on stoves with
glass surfaces: lift and lower the
cookware carefully. Do not push
over the glass surface.
• When used on gas stoves: Fire
and burning hazard! Adjust the
gas flame on the basissurface
of the cookware. The flame may
never burn outside the surface
dimensions of the cookware.
• The diameter of the stove plates
should have the diameter of the
base from pots and pans.
• When using induction cooking
plates, please note: Use fitting
cooking hob. Avoid overheating as
induction reacts very quickly.
Use in the baking oven
• Products with glass lid can be
heated to 220/260 °C.
All products with cast lids can be
heated up to 300 °C.
• For optimal use in the baking
oven, always place the cookware
on a baking sheet or the grate.
Cleaning and maintenance
• Allow they cookware to cool
before cleaning. Do not place
directly in cold water. Avoid
extreme temperature fluctuations.
Clean afterwards with warm
dishwater and rinse with cold
water. Dry thoroughly.
• Don‘t use strong abrasive agents
or scouring pads with metallic
fibres. They could damage the
enamel surface. Dishwashing
brushes or sponges with nylon
fibres can be used for cleaning the
outside and inside. They cause no
damage.
• Residues can be gently removed
through soaking they cookware in
warm water. Then clean with a
soft cloth and dry thoroughly!
• Storecast iron cookware at a dry
place.
• Cleaning in the dishwasher is
possible but not recommendable.
Cracked enamel and rust
The cookware can be used never

theless. In this case, rub oil on the
damaged spots inside of the pants.
Store dry. Damages on the bottom
of the cookware can cause scratch

es on glass surfaces. In this case,
we recommendthe purchase of a
new pan. We recommend to people
with allergies (e.g. against nickel
oriron) to exchange the old pan,
when the enamel is cracked.
We offer a 10 year warranty
for legitimate defects from the date
of the purchase, documented by the
proof of purchase (receipt). Enam
-
elled cast iron is very durable. How
-
ever, when dropping or hitting on
hard surfaces, it can be damaged.
Such damages are not covered
under the 10 year warranty.
