The CR4 is a universal, load-independent flasher relay with additional functions. It is suitable
for all motorcycles with conventional indicator switches and flasher relays (2 or 3 contacts).
The power of each indicator may be up to 23 watts, that of the horn up to 50 watts. The follow-
ing section describes how to install and connect the CR4. Then the individual functions and
their operation are described.
Thank you for the trust you have placed in us by purchasing the Kellermann CR4.

WARNING INFORMATION
WARNING! The proper installation and electrical connection is a prerequisite for the
warranty. Therefore, only carry out this work yourself if you are trained to do so. If you are
not, contact a professional and let him install the Kellermann CR4. If the installation is not
carried out properly, short circuits (cable fire) or damage to other electronic components
and destruction of the flasher relay may result.
The warranty is void in this case!
WARNING! Make sure the motorcycle is standing securely before starting work. This will
prevent injuries and damage that can be caused by the motorcycle overturning.
WARNING! Deep discharge protection deactivates the alarm function.
WARNING! Damage caused by overload will void the warranty.
MECHANICAL INSTALLATION
Remove the original flasher relay, as it is no longer needed. If possible, install the CR4 at the
former installation location of the original flasher relay or at another suitable location, i.e., as
far away from ignition coils and cables as possible. It can be fastened either by means of a
screw connection (4 mm screw) or by means of the enclosed cable ties (e.g. directly on the
cable harness or on a frame tube) or by means of a pressure-sensitive adhesive pad on a flat
or curved surface (pressure-sensitive adhesive pad not included in delivery). If possible, lay all
cables inside the original protective sleeves or along the original cable harness. Ensure that all
cables are adequately protected (e.g. with spiral protection sleeves).
