the ignition has been switched on beforehand. This prevents misuse by unauthorised persons.

Reset reminder

The control light signals at regular intervals by a fast flashing sequence that the indicator is
still switched on. This reminds the driver to reset the indicator.

Alarm

The alarm system is activated by the ignition switch. Double ignition-on ignition-off activates
the alarm, which is indicated by the control lamp lighting up several times. After a short time,
the sensor is armed, which is indicated by the control lamp lighting up again continuously.
The alarm is now armed. The control light flashes briefly at regular intervals, signalling that
the vehicle is secured by the alarm. The sensitivity is selected in such a way that vibration
of the ground, e.g., caused by passing trucks and gusts of wind, will not trigger the alarm. If
the vehicle is also moved, the CR4 sounds an alarm by flashing the indicators alternately and
honking at intervals. The alarm stops after 30 seconds. The system is then immediately armed
again. The appendix describes how you can set the threshold of the alarm system yourself in
10 steps.

Adaptive brake light

When braking heavily, the brake light is switched from continuous light to flashing to warn
subsequent traffic and thus prevent rear-end collisions. The law now prescribes such a
function as a mandatory safety device for new vehicles. However, there is currently no
regulation for motorcycles. Connecting and using the adaptive brake light is at your own risk
according to the current legislation.

Start assistant

A start assistant is integrated into the CR4. This is an alternative to the start button, which
becomes obsolete when the CR4 is installed, but can usually also be used again. The starting
process is initiated by pressing the foot or handbrake lever three times. The starter is
supplied with power until the engine has started. If the engine does not start, the starter
stops after a set time interval to prevent unnecessary battery discharge (e.g. in the event
that  the  kill  switch  is  inadvertently  set  to “off”).  If  the  starting  process  of  your  vehicle
generally takes longer than the interval, instead of pressing the brake lever three times, you
can hold it down during the third press. The starter then runs until you remove your foot or
hand from the brake. It is basically the same as pressing the start button. You determine
