15. Slowly lift the machine and make sure that the length of the PTO shaft is long enough and
that it is not angled too much.
16. Make sure the front and back of the machine are level with the ground, edge to edge; use
the 3-point linkage to make any adjustments.
17. When in use, the machine should always be horizontal in all directions.
18. To disconnect the machine from the tractor, follow the instructions but in reverse order!
Always store the machine in a dry space on a level floor. If there is a risk of vandalism,
remove the PTO drive and store the machine in a safer location.
CONTROL LEVERS
Please read this section to get an idea of where the control levers are and what they do before
you start using the machine. Being more aware of the control levers means you can make
better use of the machine and not miss out on any adjustment options.
DISCHARGE CHUTE
IMPORTANT! When operating in windy weather, make sure you align the discharge chute
and chute flap so that it is not pointing towards the wind. Do not point it at people, ani-
mals or buildings nearby.
The discharge chute is designed with a spring-load-
ed lock handle to allow you to set the chute at a
360° angle and then lock the handle.
1. Lift the lock handle until the locking pin is re-
leased from its attachment.
2. Use the lock handle and the other handle to
rotate the discharge chute to the required po-
sition.
3. Release the lock handle and rotate the chute a
little to lock it in place.

High pressure liquid hazard!
To avoid serious injury or death when working with high pressure liquids:

Make sure the system is not pressurised during repair or adjustment work
•
Wear proper protective gloves and goggles when looking for leaks. Use a
pieces of wood or cardboard instead of your hands

Maintain all parts in good condition

CHUTE FLAP
The discharge chute is fitted with a spring-loaded chute flap
to direct the chips to exactly where you want them to be.
The flap is controlled using a lever that can be locked in place:
Pull down the button to release the lever lock, turn the lever to
the required position for the chute flap and release the button.
