MAINTAINING FEED ROLLERS
At times, the feed rollers require servicing, for instance to remove debris, when cleaning, or
to perform inspections or repairs. To safely raise and gain access to the feed rollers, there is a
turnbuckle on top of the chipper.

NOTE
PREVENT SERIOUS ACCIDENTS
Always ensure that the turnbuckle is holding up the upper infeed roller.
1. Carry out the “Safety check before ma-
chine maintenance” step.
2. Remove the eight bolts holding the guard
above the infeed rollers.
3. Remove the guard above the infeed rollers.
4. Remove the four large wing nuts, two on
each side.
5. Remove the springs used to tension the
upper infeed roller.
6. Remove the lower pin for the turnbuckle.
7. Lift the upper infeed roller.
NOTE risk of crushing!
8. Attach it under the pin in the service brack-
et for the upper infeed roller.
9. Clean out or perform the required task.
10. Assemble in reverse order.
NOTE Tighten the wing nuts against each other
to form a jam nut.
RECYCLING
For scrapping, the equipment/product must be dismantled and transported to
a recycling station designated by your local authority. Hazardous waste, such
as oil filters, grease, residues after oil changes or any fluids, must be collected
and transported to the local authority’s designated location. Contact your local
authority for further information.
