MAINTENANCE AND SERVICE
•
All electrical repairs and electrical connections must be carried out by a qualified person.
•
Before starting maintenance/service, make sure the machine is switched off and pull out
the spark plug cap to ensure it cannot start.
•
Ensure that the engine has cooled before starting work.
•
Perform maintenance and service in an area with good ventilation.
•
Fire and smoking are prohibited in the vicinity of the machine. The petrol can easily ignite
and cause injury.
•
Check that all nuts and bolts are tightened after maintenance and service work. Always
test the machine before starting work.
•
Do not spray water directly on the silencer, exhaust system or filter; water may get into
the engine and cause serious damage.
•
Never use dirty oil/fuel as this can lead to serious damage of the engine.
•
Grease the wheels and moving parts, such as the throttle and idler bracket, regularly.
WARNING!
Start the equipment outdoors or in a well-ventilated area!
Do not start the equipment before the area is secure.
Ensure that the gear shift is in the stop position before starting the engine to avoid accidents.
TOPPING UP/DRAINING ENGINE OIL

Top up with engine oil SAE 15W-40 at one
of the two filling points,

Note: Do not overfill!
Important! Check the oil level before each
use. Refill as needed.
Draining, B.

changing the oil. The oil flows more easily and
any impurities are carried away with the oil.
1. Make sure the machine is on level ground
and engine is switched off.
2. Place a catch pan under the tap screw.
3. Unscrew the tap screw and drain off the oil.
4. Screw the tap screw back into place.
