remove heavy dirt. After cleaning let the pedal-free bike dry or wipe it with soft and clean towel.

RIDING A PEDAL-FREE BIKE
1. Adjusting the size of the pedal-free bike:
The saddle should be positioned to such height in which a child is able to stand on the ground with
a whole sole of its feet with moderately bent knees. Handlebars should be so adjusted that upper
limbs are approximately in horizontal position when gripping the handlebars. Check whether this
position is comfortable for the child.
Regularly adjust the pedal-free bike according to the actual height of the child.
2. Getting started:
If the child is able to lift the pedal-free bike of the ground, it is also capable of riding it. It is not
necessary to provide a complex explanation of the bike use to the child, let the child ride it. You
should only watch its activity with the pedal-free bike. Children have a good ability to learn which
can be further developed by letting them control the pedal-free bike just by themselves. Usually,
they will soon find a way, how to move and ride the pedal-free bike. When riding the bike, please
make sure that the child is in the bike seat and not sitting on the top tube.
3. Push-off:
The child should push off the ground in a forward direction by alternating left and right foot. As a
result, it gains higher speed. The ride will be easier for it, if it is pushing off the ground by toe tips
and landing on its heels.
4. Balancing:
The child should balance a ride on the pedal-free bike mainly by its back and buttock. As soon as
this ability is mastered, the child is also able to control other transport vehicles for children. Riding
on the pedal-free bike supports balancing, physical and intellectual development, strengthens
muscles of back, improves the overall coordination and locomotive abilities.
5. In case the child needs help:
Let the child sit on the pedal-free bike and grip the handlebars. Catch the frame top tube and move
the pedal-free bike to the left and to the right. The child will adapt to this new kind of movement
and balance its sitting.
