Procedure when replacing ionization wires:
· Hook the end of the ionization wire on which the spring sits, into the keyhole like opening of the
fastening bracket.
· Now with one hand carefully stretch the ionization wire (see illustration 4) without bending it,
and hook the opposite end with your other hand carefully into the corresponding opening.
F-3 After-Filter Insert
The after-filter insert has replaceable filter mat. When saturated, it can be replaced with a minimum
of effort.
To change the mat, follow these steps:
· Pull out the wire fasteners
· Take out the old filter mat and replace it with the new one
· Secure the new filter mat with the wire fasteners
F-4 Activated Charcoal Filter
(Optional)
The life of the activated charcoal filter depends greatly upon the application. It is not predictable
and there is no way to monitor it. The filter must be changed whenever gases or fumes reappear
in the cleaned air.
