Adjusting Gear Selection with Multi-Speed
Gearbox for CLAAS Forage Harvesters
The multi-speed drive for CLAAS forage harvesters has
4 speeds.
The first 2 speeds are selected by turning nut (B) on the
outside of the drive.
The entire multi-speed drive can be rotated so that 2 more
speeds (A) can be selected.
With the drive in the position shown, the first and second
speeds can be selected.

Rotate the multi-speed gearbox
To select the third and fourth speeds, the drive must be
rotated around its central axis.
To do so, proceed as follows:
1. Remove universal-jointed shaft (A) from gearbox.
2. Unfasten hex socket screws (B).
