Sealing insert in the protective screen and connecting hose:
• The sealing insert (Pos. 2) must be tightly on the head all around. Tighten the rubber tension
ring (Pos. 3) in the sealing insert (Pos. 2) accordingly.
If the sealing insert is not tightly
on the head all around, the overpressure needed to adhere to the protection factor is
not achieved and harmful substances get in the user‘s respiratory zone!
For information on setting up head support (Pos. 6) and operating the welding protection cap
(Pos. 1) see separate operating instructions for welding protection cap that were delivered
with said product.
The hose connection (Pos. 5) has a bayonet catch. When plugging in, ensure that
the catch pins are in the right position with regard to the diffuser (Pos. 4).
Then it can easily be plugged into the diffuser‘s counterpart and secured by lightly turning it
counter-clockwise.
