KHS Hygiene Flush Box
Water exchange group
Using the KHS Hygiene Flush Box can ensure a high standard of
hygiene for a building’s drinking water supply. The KHS Hygiene
Flush Box flushing ensures a regular flow through the drinking
water installation and prevents water stagnation in drinking
water installations.
The KHS Hygiene Flush Box is integrated into the drinking water
installation that requires flushing via the water exchange groups
and connected to the waste water via the trap. The KHS Hygiene
Flush Box is operated via the control system.
Depending on the version, the KHS Hygiene Flush Box is
equipped with one or two water exchange groups, each of
which can be connected to a cold or hot water installation.
Each water exchange group can be shut off for maintenance
purposes using the built-in maintenance cut-offs. The combined
flow and temperature sensor (only for PRO and LITE) can provide
information on the quantity and temperature of the water
flowing through during a flushing cycle. The flushing cycles are
triggered via the controller using a solenoid valve.
The water exchange group is completed by a combination of
flow limiter, anti-pollution check valve and aerator. A flow limiter
and anti-pollution check valve are pre-assembled in the aerator,
limiting the flow to 10 l/min. Flow limiters for a flow rate of 5 l/
min or 15 l/min are not included in the scope of delivery, but can
be purchased and installed if required.
