On the
General
tab under
Data
is a list of predefined values and delimiters. To create a formatted
string, select the desired value from the list by clicking on it and then click the
Add
button. For this
lab select
<Full string>
click
Add
; scroll down to find
<SP>
(for space) click it and then click
Add
;
scroll down and find
<Used Read Setup>
click it and then click
Add
. This will create the string
shown in the above image (red oval in Fig. 48).
Return to the
Quick Setup
pane and place the
Ace of Hearts
in the field of view at table top height
and trigger the reader. Place the
Two of Diamonds
in the field of view at the same height as when it
was tuned (two to three inches from the front of the reader) and trigger the reader. Place the
Ace of
Diamonds
in the field of view at the table top height (same as
Ace of Hearts
) and trigger the
reader. Each code should be read and in the
Result History
pane you should see something like the
image below (Fig. 49). Next to each string is the number of the setup that was used to read the
code.
