5 System Configuration
The on-board web interface provides many user-friendly configuration options as well as sophisticated
software add-ons for the specific needs of industry users.
The sections below are brief descriptions of the configuration options.
The menus, their items and the available settings depend on which model you are using, the software
packages installed (e.g. type of web browsers, CODESYS HMI) and your operating system. They may
therefore differ from the ones described in this manual.
5.1 Accessing the System Configuration
The Web Interface ensures ease of configuration. You can choose to start the configuration utility either
directly by picking the appropriate option as the unit starts up or by running an Internet browser on an
external device and configuring the unit via its Ethernet connection.
The menus are arranged well to help you quickly find a particular setting such as the network settings, URL,
display, FTP, IP tables, screen saver, web browser and CODESYS settings, passwords, diagnosis etc.
Standard IP addresses for panel access (factory defaults):
NET1: 192.168.0.227 (subnet: 255.255.255.0)
NET2: 192.168.1.227 (subnet: 255.255.255.0)
Standard passwords (factory defaults):
User: root
Password: root

Network
You can choose to assign a dynamic (DHCP) or static (fixed IP) network address. The address is a unique
identifier of your unit within the network. The correct settings depend on the network you are running your
unit in. The Web Configurator's Network page also lets you change the WLAN settings.
