3.8 Front
The chemically strengthened and toughened glass resides in a milled aluminium frame without edges. We
recommend using a soft cloth and customary household glass surface cleaner to clean the panel front. See
Maintenance for further details.
Screen
The IPS displays installed reliably reproduce colours and provide a wide aspect angle.
Backlight
Use the system setup utility or a Linux command to set the backlight brightness.
Touch
The touch sensor of projective capacitive (PCAP) or PCT touch screens is located under the glass, which
turns this device into a particularly rugged and versatile piece of technology.
It is fully integrated and connects to the CPU board via an internal interface. The front glass is chemically
strengthened/toughened. The analysis circuitry is able to detect up to 5 fingers.
CAUTION
Hitting the screen glass with a hard object may damage the glass and cause injuries later.
Use your finger or stylus to operate the screen.
