CARE AND CLEANING
CLEANING INSTRUCTIONS
• Ensure that the griddle is unplugged and cool before attempting to clean it.
• Never use a scouring pad or abrasive cleaner as they will damage both plastic
and metal parts.
• The drip tray may be washed in hot soapy water.
• Use a spatula or plastic/wood utensil designed for use with non-stick surfaces to
scrape off any excess food adhering to the heating plate. A wet non-abrasive
sponge or paper towel can be used to rub off stubborn patches. Dry the non-stick
heating plate thoroughly using a paper towel.
• Clean the handles and temperature control with a moistened paper towel or soft
cloth. Dry thoroughly before further griddle use.
NOTE: All other servicing should be performed by a qualified service technician.
WARNING:
• DO NOT immerse Griddle in water or any other liquid.
• ALWAYS make sure Time knob is in the 0 (off) position and UNPLUG Griddle
from the electric outlet before cleaning.
