TEMPERATURE ADJUSTMENT

The tip temperature can be set as
required by turning the temperature
regulator dial. The housing is marked
with for orientation purposes
(See fig. 4). You can determine the
ideal setting by trial soldering a joint,
as components have varying
properties. It is not necessary for the
tip to glow bright red to achieve
satisfactory soldering temperatures.
SAFETY STAND
l
Always use the wire stand provided to rest the iron on.
Simply place the wire stand into the slot provided
(See fig. 5) and rest the iron in the stand (See fig. 6).

Tips are available as accessories from your local distributor.
The tips marked with an asterisk are included with your soldering
iron. (See fig. 7).
