If water leaks from the faucet attachment, the valve body or the spout may be damaged. Please take care when
removing the water purifier to avoid injury from the damaged part. (Refer Pg. 21 for “Basic Troubleshooting”.)

Do not use soap, chemical detergents, thinner or alcohol to clean the unit.

Do not use the purifier without a cartridge.

Do not remove the cartridge during filtration.

Do not run water of over 35°C through the filter cartridge.

Do not run water of over 50°C through the unit under any condition.

Do not block or attach other objects to the filtered water outlet.

Do not allow water to freeze in the unit.

Do not use the unit near objects which generate heat.

In areas with high water pressure, open the faucet slightly while using the unit.

Preventing leaks or accidents

Preventing injury

4

The unit cannot change hard water to soft water or soft water to hard water.

In the event of extremely murky water, turn the water selection lever to “Unfiltered Spray” and run water until it

becomes clear before filtration.

If attached to a faucet used for both hot and cold water, users should ensure that hot water above 35°C does

not enter the cartridge.

This may result in death of your fish in the event that dechlorination performance is lowered.

Do not use the filtered water in fish bowls or aquariums

Other precautions

Do not connect the unit to instantaneous water heaters. This could result in damage to the water heater.

Preventing damage to other appliances

If the faucet is not tight enough, excessive load may cause water to leak from the faucet attachment, faucet or

the plumbing system.

If  the  end  of  spout  is  covered  with  a  plastic  insulation  cap,  water  may  leak  from  the  faucet  attachment  or

damage the cap due to excessive load.

[

Note:

Please remember that the damage to spout / the spout cap and leaks if any caused by the damage are

not covered under Warranty.

Avoid damage to the faucet and its parts

Change the cartridge if flow rate decreases dramatically due to Hollow Fiber UF Membrane blockage and does not
improve even after backwash. (Continued use of a blocked cartridge in areas with high water pressure can result
in cartridge breakage.)
