Recording-related keys
Set the recording pause mode.

Recording can be started or paused simultaneously with the
sound and from the sound approximately 6 seconds before
the current sound.
Preparation
Automatically starting recording when the track starts (SOUND SYNCHRO REC)
Recording starts when a sound above a certain level is input.
This function is particularly convenient when combined
with the AUTO CUT function to record selected tracks.
Press while in the recording pause mode.
When the track starts, recording starts.

The sound detection level can be adjusted with the REC MODE
“AUTO
LEVEL”
setting.

set.

For some music sources, the beginning of the track may be cut off.
Automatically pausing recording when the track ends (REC AUTO PAUSE)
Recording is automatically paused when the sound input is
below a certain level for over 3 seconds or when the track
number changes during digital recording of a CD.
This function comes in handy when you only want to record
one track from the CD.
Press while in the recording or recording pause
mode.

Starting recording from the sound before the current sound (MEMORY REC)
Recording starts from the sound 6 seconds before the point
at which the key is pressed.
Use this for example when recording radio programs.
Press while in the recording pause mode.
Recording starts from the sound 6 seconds be-
fore the current sound.

It is not possible to start recording from the sound 6 seconds before the
current sound if less than 6 seconds have passed in the recording pause
mode.
