Disc tray B ( 9 1 ) has a c o n e - s h a p e d sectional v i e w , as
s h o w n in Fig. M 1 1 , by w h i c h the signal pit s u r f a c e o n
t h e disc is p r o t e c t e d a g a i n s t d a m a g e . Disc tray B ( 9 1 )
has f o u r c a t c h e s in its o u t e r c i r c u m f e r e n c e . T h e s e cat
c h e s are e n g a g e d w i t h t h e f o u r c a m g r o o v e s of disc tray
A ( 9 3 ) so t h a t t h e tray s e c t i o n m o v e s up a n d d o w n c o n
c u r r e n t l y w i t h r o t a t i o n .
