Connecting the System
SUB WOOFER PRE OUT
Connect a subwoofer with a built-in am-
plifier (such as the optional SW-40HT/
sold separately) to the
[SUB WOOFER
PRE OUT]
terminal on the rear panel of
the main unit.
D.AUDIO
Connect digital audio players to the
[D.AUDIO]
terminal on the
front panel of the main unit.

If you connect a Kenwood player that supports digital audio
link using the dedicated cable PNC-150 (sold separately), you
can control the player from the main unit and the remote
control. (P.48) Other portable players can be connected using
a 3.5 mm stereo mini-plug cable (commercially available).

When you are not using the digital audio player, unplug the mini-
plug cable from the main unit.

Plug headphones equipped with a 3.5
mm stereo mini-plug into the
[PHONES]
jack on the front panel of the main unit.

When headphones are connected,
no sound will be output from the
speakers.

on components such as digital tuners to

terminal on the rear panel
of the main unit.

Set the digital audio output on
connected components to “PCM”.

Connect a cassette deck, etc. to the

of the main unit.
