3.3 Residual risk
This device complies with the recognised rules of technology and relevant safety regulations. However the following can still occur when the
device is being used:
• Danger to life and limb of the operator or other persons.
• Defects developing on the device itself.
• Defects developing on other equipment.
4. Limitations of liability
We expressly point out that, according to the product liability law, we are not liable for damages caused by our device if they are caused by
non-observance of the operating instructions, improper use, improper repair or if original parts are not used when replacing parts and the repair
was not carried out by customer service or an authorised specialist. This also applies to accessory components.
5. For your safety
This section provides you with important warning and safety instructions that you must always observe when using the device.
5.1 Basic safety instructions
Follow the basic safety instructions below to ensure safe handling and use of the device:
IMPORTANT!
• Repairs to this device must only be carried out by service centres. Spare parts should be ordered from your specialist dealer.
• Comply with national regulations applicable at the place of operation in relation to workplace safety and the applicable national regulations
governing the operation of the device.
• The safety valve (G) must be checked regularly. Inspection intervals must be defined by the system operator taking into account the operating
conditions, although the manufacturer recommends that inspections be carried out at least every six months.
• Only use original KERBL replacement and accessory articles for the device.
• Never use worn, modified or faulty replacement or accessory parts for the device.
• This device complies with the recognised rules of technology and relevant safety regulations.
• This device can be used by adults aged 18 years and older and by individuals with impaired physical, sensory or mental abilities or those with
insufficient experience and knowledge to do so, provided they are being supervised or have been trained on the safe use of the device and un-
derstand the resulting dangers. Children and adolescents under the age of 18 must not play with the device. Cleaning and user maintenance
must not be performed by children or adolescents without supervision.
• Fill media only into the designated containers. Store the device and media so that they cannot be reached by children and household pets.
• The device must not be used if you are fatigued, unwell or under the influence of alcohol, drugs or medications.
• Fill and operate the device only on level and flat surfaces.
• Each time before starting up the device, check the pressurised and media-carrying operating elements regularly to ensure their perfect condi-
tion and function. The safety valve (G) must be checked regularly for fault-free condition and function.
• Pay particular attention to the tightness of the funnel connection and screw connections. Check material for cracking, brittleness and corro-
sion. If damage is suspected, the device must be shut down immediately.
• Do not leave the device unattended.
• Protect the device from direct sunlight and frost.
• The safety regulations and workplace safety rules of the relevant country must be obeyed.
• When passing on the device to third parties, it is imperative that the instructions for use are also passed on.
5.2 Dangers to health
WARNING!
Danger to life through fire and explosion. Improper use of the device may result in danger to life. Avoid ignition sources in the vicinity.
When applying flammable media, do not spray onto hot surfaces.
