8.1 RESET to factory settings (Type 2015)
NOTE: Please read the following carefully before carrying out the points below.
1 Teaching-in phase
If no end positions have yet been set (factory settings) these have to be set first. This takes place for
the first time when the cabinet is started up, and then as required. The top end position has to be set
first, then the bottom.
This sequence will be stipulated. If the top endpoint has not yet been set, it is only possible to run in
the UP direction (UP/STOP). As soon as the top endpoint has been set, but the bottom endpoint has
not yet been set, it is only possible to run in the DOWN direction (DOWN/STOP).
1.1 Endpoint setting UP
Start the drive using the sensor button, and at the same time keep the sensor button pressed (6.2.).
The suspension now runs in the UP direction at low speed. Keep the sensor button pressed until the
drive switches itself off automatically due to overload, and then reverses (6.3.). Now release the
sensor button again. The UP end point is now saved.
Note:
If the button is released during running up, the drive will stop immediately. This is called dead man
operation.
The reason for this is that dead man operation is less problematic for safety reasons. Deleting all
settings is blocked in this mode.
1.2 Endpoint setting DOWN
Start the drive using the sensor button, and then release the sensor button again (6.4.). The
suspension now runs in the DOWN direction at normal speed until it is switched off automatically by
overtension switching. The switch-off point is then the DOWN end point. If the DOWN end point has
not yet been set, the drive can only be operated in the DOWN direction.
1.3 Teaching-in pulling forces
Teaching in of pulling forces takes place after the bottom end point has been set. To do this, the
sensor button must be permanently pressed (6.7.) (dead man operation) until the suspension has
reached the bottom end point (6.8.). If this drive movement is interrupted by releasing the sensor
button, the suspension must be run right to the bottom again and the process repeated.
1.4 Programming the intermediate position (after reset via reed contact)
The requirements of this process is that the cabinet is an attachment and that both the UP and DOWN
end positions have already been programmed and the pulling force has already been taught in.
The time window for setting the intermediate positions is 3 minutes.
The time window is started if the pulling forces have to be taught in new. Start the drive in upward or
downwards movement (6.9) and stop at the required position (intermediate position) (6.10.). When
stopped, do not release the sensor button but keep it pressed for 5 seconds (6.11.) for as long as the
drive runs briefly in the UP direction and then stops again (acknowledgement).
If the position has not been correctly set, this process can be repeated. The old value is then
overwritten.
