SH1

WarmUp (Aufwärmen)

In the first 30 seconds the power remains constant and then is increased until it reaches the tar-
get power (previously set power).

The

"warm up"

function will

only

be available if the preset power is higher than the warm up

/ cool down power in displays & functions. Pressing

"warm up"

will display a progress bar. If

the progress bar reaches 100% during pedalling, it beeps 3 times and the function is ended.

CoolDown

The power will be reduced to the warm up / cool down power and held at this for 30 seconds
until the warm up / cool down duration is reached.

The

"cool down"

function will only be available if the current power in training is higher than

the warm up / cool down power in displays & functions. When you press

"cool down"

the

progress bar will go to 100%. Once this has been reached it beeps 3 times and the function is
ended.

• With the

"energy calculation"

key you can decide whether your energy use should be dis-

played realistically or physically with the energy consumption of the ergometer.
• With the

"energy unit"

key you can decide if your energy use should be displayed in kilo-

joules or kcal.

Targets > exercise values

The first time that the menu is displayed the values will all say "off".Once energy use, exercise
time and exercise distance have been inputted, the values will be able to be seen.

Note:

CoolDown

WarmUp

Note:

The inputting of exercise values ensures that the values in the "ready to exercise" display are
uploaded to the training programmes. They can be further adapted there.
The values begin to count down at the start of the exercise session. The values do not have an in-
fluence on the control of the ergometer.

Targets > recommended heart rate

Once the person data of the "active" person has been inputted, several heart rate values will be
displayed. If not then instead of a value "off" will be displayed.

• The display

"absolute maximum heart rate"

165. This value comes from the calculation

of (220 -age) here of, for example, Thomas (55 years old). It gives the highest heart rate which
may, but is not required to, be reached for your age in the training of a healthy person and is
medically approved.

• With the

"maximum heart rate (selected)“

key you can reduce this value or turn it off.

This value includes the % display: current heart rate to maximum heart rate (selected) and the
profile height in the heart rate programmes.
• With the "alarm upon exceeding" key you can decide if an alarm should sound on exceeding
the maximum heart rate or not. If "off" is selected in the

"maximum heart rate (selected)“
