Configure IQ Tools:
a
Click the
IQTools
icon on the desktop or from the install directory.

From the
IQTools
main dialog window, click on the
Configure instrument
connection
button as shown below. This will launch the
Instrument
Configuration
dialog shown in
.

Set the following parameters in the
Instrument Configuration
dialog:
- Select
M8195A
from the
Instrument Model
drop-down list.
- Select
1ch, deep mem,64GSa/s
in the
Mode
drop-down list.
-
Connection type
= visa
- Key in
TCPIP0::local::hislip0:INSTR
for the
VISA Address
.
- Press the
Test connection
button. If the M8195A SFP in already running
properly, the button should turn
green
as show in
