Connecting the MX0106A Probe Head to DUT
When probing single-ended signals:
• ensure that the - input of the probe amplifier is connected to the ground of the
DUT.
• orient the MX0106A probe head vertically. Laying the probe head flat causes
coupling to the probe head tip that can degrade the probe performance.
NOTE
The + and – connection for the MX0106A probe head can be determined
when the probe head is plugged into the probe amplifier. The polarity
markings on the probe amplifier represent the + and - inputs on the
MX0106A probe head. Therefore, it does not matter which way the
MX0106A tip is soldered.
