H. Backrest
How to Fold the Backrest Down
1. Push the levers (Fig. 8:A) toward the front of the chair to disengage the latches. If the
backrest seating is attached, both latches must be disengaged simultaneously in order to
allow the backrest to fold.
2. Push forward on the backrest to rotate it downward. Once it begins to rotate forward the
latch levers may be released.
How to Adjust a Push Handle Angle
1. If the chair is equipped with a height adjustable backrest, push the buttons of the locking
hinges (Fig. 9:A). Both of the buttons must be pressed simultaneously to adjust the angle.
2. While holding the buttons down, rotate the push handle to the desired position.
3. Release the buttons when the desired angle is achieved.
4. Verify that the hinge is locked by pulling upwards on the push handles.
