How to Use Your Anti-Tips
1. Disengaging the Anti-Tips
a. Pull the anti-tip down parallel to the adjustment tube and rotate it upward (Fig. 24).
b. The anti-tip may be left floating for curb navigation, or it may be rotated all the way up into
the detent (Fig. 24:A) to hold it up.
c. To re-engage, lift the anti-tip back up over the detent (if engaged) and push downward to
relatch into place.
2. Removing the Anti-Tips
a. Use a 4mm Allen wrench and a 10mm wrench or socket and remove the pivot screw and
nut (Fig. 24:B).
b. Use a 3mm Allen wrench and an 8mm wrench or socket and remove the angle adjustment
screw and nut (Fig. 24:C).
c. Remove the anti-tip from the chair along with the anti-tip bushing from the axle plate hole.
d. It is recommended to reassemble the screws and nuts with the bushing back together to
avoid the loss of parts until future use.
