BRAKING
• Your wheelchair has brakes mounted onto frame from both sides. (Pic. No. 10) Once
delivered, brakes are adjusted properly to ensure sufficient braking. In order to apply
brakes, please hold braking lever and push it forward. We recommend always use both
brakes at the same time to ensure maximum safety. Due to normal wear and tear of
rear wheel, braking efficiency may be reduced. In order to have suffiecient braking,
you must adjust position of brakes. To do so, please use allen key and untighten two
screws located in bottom part of brakes. Then, push it forwards or backwards and
tigten screws.
In case you move rear wheel adapter by 180º to extend rear wheel base, it is neccessary
to re-locate brakes. Please use allen key to untigten brake device, push it backwards
and tighten again.
LEGREST OPERATION
The footrests must be installed in the front of chair. Firstly, please insert plastic part
into metal tube and push it down. After, move legrest inside until you hear snap. (Pic.
No. 11) Once locked in position, legrest stand firmly. Do not mix left and right legrest!
After installation, plastic footplate must be faced inwards.
Once leaving wheelchair, legrest must be flipped away or completely removed. Pull
plastic lever upwards and move legrest outside. Length of legrest can be adjusted to
meet user’s needs. Firstly, unscrew bolt using allen key, pull out bolt and tighten it
again in needed position.
