Install Steering Rod and Steering Wheel
1. Gently turn the Dodge Viper
onto its side on a carpeted
surface or other soft material to
prevent damage to the side of
the car.
NOTE:
It is helpful to have an
assistant during this section.
2. Insert the steering rod into the
bracket found underneath the
Dodge Viper, then up through
the dashboard.
Hold the steering rod in place
and turn the Dodge Viper right
side up.
3. Firmly plug the connector from
the steering wheel into the
connector in the dashboard.
4. Holding the steering rod, lower
the steering wheel onto the
dashboard, with the notch on
the column facing up. Align the
steering wheel holes with the
holes in the steering rod.
5. Insert the long screw into the
steering column and attach the
nut on the other side. Tighten
securely.
