4.2.3 Setting the sleeping position
The kiddy infinity pro is fitted with a sleeping position, which guarantees com-
fortable and secure seating during longer journeys.
To set the sleeping position, first release
the vehicle's belt system. Pull the kiddy infi-
nity pro as far forward as possible so that
the black supporting clamp, located on the
back of the seat part, can be folded back.
Then push the kiddy infinity pro against the
back rest of the vehicle seat.
In its opened state, the supporting clamp
must lie against the back rest of the vehicle
seat. It prevents the seat from slipping back
(fig. 9).
The back rest of the kiddy infinity pro can
be swivelled into the sleeping position. The
sleeping position is then achieved when
the back rest of the child seat lies against
the vehicle seat rest (fig. 9).
Never set the sleeping position during mid
journey. Your vehicle must be at a stand-
still. Undo the vehicle belt, change the posi-
tion of the supporting clamp and back rest
and then secure your child (the child
restraint system) again.
To secure the child in the sleeping position, please proceed as described in
item 5.
