Once the belt system has been tightened, it
is necessary to recheck that the seating is
correct and also that the belt is correctly
fastened in the belt fasteners.
Prior to travelling, see for yourself that the
lap and shoulder belt rest properly on the
impact shield and that they sit firmly and are
not twisted.
The belts must be flat over the belt guide
area of the impact shield (fig. 16).
Check the belt process regularly.
6. Removing the cover
Never use your kiddy without the original cover. The cover is part of
the safety concept.
6.1. Pulling off the back rest cover
Open the cover on the reverse of the back rest in the shoulder area above.
Then push the head rest into the bottom setting. Pull the loops from both
fasteners on top of the back rest. Pull the cover from the back to the front
from the shoulder rests.
6.2 Pulling off the seat cover
Loosen both rubber bands underneath the seat part. Then open the faste-
ning on the reverse of the seat part. Pull the clip between the back rest and
seat part upwards. Remove the seat cover from the back and forwards over
the seat part.
