Maintaining Your Corvette Race Car
•
Periodically check to make sure the seat screws and wheel nuts are tight. Make sure
the battery bracket is securely in place and the plastic parts are not cracked or broken.
•
Occasionally use a lightweight oil to lubricate moving parts such as wheels and the
steering linkages.
•
Park the Corvette Race Car indoors or cover it with a tarp to protect it from wet
weather.
•
Keep the Corvette Race Car away from sources of heat, such as stoves and heaters.
Plastic parts may melt.
•
ADULTS ONLY:
Recharge the battery after each use. Recharge the battery at least
once a month when the Corvette Race Car is not being used. See pages

instructions about recharging the battery.

Car with soap and water.
DO NOT
drive the Corvette Race Car in rainy or snowy
weather. Water will damage the motor, electrical system and battery.

Clean the Corvette Race Car with a soft, dry cloth. To restore shine to plastic parts,
use a non-wax furniture polish.

use car wax.

use abrasive cleaners.

drive the Corvette Race Car in loose dirt, sand or fine gravel, which could
damage moving parts, motors or the electrical system.
