Starting and ending parallel operation
■
Start procedure
1.
T
u
rn off the OUTPUT and PO
W
ER switches on all
power s
u
pplies that are connected in parallel.
2.
T
u
rn on the PO
W
ER switch on the slave power s
u
p-
plies.
3.
T
u
rn on the PO
W
ER switch on the master power
s
u
pply.
4.
T
u
rn the VOLTAGE and CURRE
N
T knobs of the
slave power s
u
pplies clockwise all the way.
If the output setting of the slave power supplies is not set to the
maximum, the slave power supplies will not be able to follow up
the output setting of the master power supply.
5.
W
hile holding down the LIMIT switch on the master
power s
u
pply, set the o
u
tp
u
t voltage and o
u
tp
u
t c
u
r-
rent.
The actual output current setting is the value specified on the
master power supply multiplied by the number of power sup-
plies.
6.

rn on the OUTPUT switch on the slave power s
u
p-
plies.
