14.1 XW Pro Multi-unit Design Guide
Multi-Unit Power System
A Multi-Unit Power System is a group of battery-based XW Pro inverter/chargers and
related devices which are physically assembled together, electrically connected together,
and configured to operate as a single power source.
The objective of the grouping is to create a power system capable of supplying more
power than what can be provided by a single inverter.
Example of a Multi-Unit Power System
This section provides instructions for making AC and DC connections between multiple Conext
XW Pro units and a Power Distribution Panel (PDP), using the cables that are included with
each PDPand Connection Kit for INV2 INV3 PDP.
Note:
The installation steps described in this section require a Connection Kit for INV2 INV3
PDP (part number 865-1020-02) and PDP 120/240V 60A Breaker Kit (part number 865-1215-
01) for each additional Conext XW Pro.
