Water crossings

Diesel for Hot Water System

Diesel for the hot water system is stored within a 3L tank in

the front storage box (Kampers) or a 12L tank next to the

front storage box (Karavans and Kruisers). Please check this

fuel level before any trips.

Hot Water System Glycol Replacement

The diesel-powered hot water system uses glycol for heat transfer to the water being

heated. The level can be checked in the right side of Kamper front storage box, inside

the rear frame in the Karavan and within the Ensuite for Kruisers.

If you need to replace the glycol in the hot water system at any time you can use

standard premix glycol fl uid that you would use in your vehicle. It must be premix—

DO NOT USE CONCENTRATE.

When performing water crossings where the water level is

above your Kimberley axles the following precautions need

to be taken to avoid any damage to your Diesel Hot Water

System or Diesel Space Heater System

1.  Create a water-tight seal over heater exhaust outlets. If

you are travelling through the water, it is fi ne. If you stop

submerged, it may be a problem.

If these precautions are not observed the Warranty on the

Diesel Heater may be voided.

CAUTION:

Ensure these seals are removed before operating the hot water system.
