three (3) different user pin-codes can be set
➢
the
D
key is reserved for the Push Button option-
DO NOT PROGRAM THIS BUTTON TO THE MOTOR UNLESS YOU NEED THIS OPTION.
➢
no need to delete old code; When entering new code - old code will be deleted
➢
you need to go into programing mode first, and then, to program a user pin-code
➢
for security reason do not use 1234, 1111, or other simple codes
Programming a user pin-code(s) to the unit
1)
press buttons A and B together for 6 seconds until you hear - three consecutive beeps
2)
press 1,1,1,1, (the default Master Code), followed by the
D
button - three consecutive beeps
3)
key-in new user pin-code: 4 numbers, followed by one of the button A or B or C - one long beep confirms the code has been stored
4)
Try the new pin-code; if ok - One confirmation long beep, (if not successful -consecutive short beeps will be heard, repeat steps 1 - 4)
Programming the keypad to a King motor/ control box / your gate:
In the motor or the control box:
1)
press the
RAD
button- the red RAD indicator become steady on and release the button immediately.
If it starts flashing
–
wait until it goes off, and repeat it again
2)
on the keypad; Key-in the new user pin-code you just enter (Eg:1,2,3,4, B) - red RAD indicator on the control unit flashes
3)
key-in the other user pin-code if done - RAD indicator on the control unit flashes
4)
repeat for more user pin-codes if need to (A, B, C)
5)
wait few seconds until the
RAD
indicator turned off
Programming the keypad to a KingGates FRED receiver:
1)
press the tact switch on the RECIVER shortly - green light turns ON
2)
key-in the user pin-code you just enter (Eg:1,2,3,4, B) - Green light OFF
3)
repeat section 1 and 2 for more pin-codes if need to (A, B, C)
Setting the keypad as a Push Button:
1)
press the
RAD
button on the motor/ control unit.
as the red RAD indicator turns on
–
release the button immediately. If it starts flashing
–
wait until it goes off, and repeat it again
2)
press the
D
key on the keypad - the RAD indicator flashes while the code is memorized
.
3)
wait few seconds until the Red RAD indicator turns off
–
done

Before programming the keypad - unit
