ASSEMBLY/OPERATION/
MAINTENANCE
1. Position the metal dust collector (A) Fig.4 upside down as shown and
install the 2 locking castor wheels (B) and the 2 free spinning castor
wheels (C) to the welded mounting brackets underneath the metal
dust collector cabinet using 16 flange head hex. bolts (D).
2. Position the metal dust collector upright on its castor wheels, position
the metal dust collector in the desired working location and lock both
locking castor wheels (B) Fig.4 to prevent the machine from moving.
WARNING!
To prevent the risk of fire, only use fireproof hoses designed for metal
dust collection with this metal dust collector. Make sure both air filters
are installed in the hinged access door before operating.
3. Up to two fireproof metal dust collection hoses can be installed to this
metal dust collector (A) Fig.5.
4. A 3” hose can be installed to one of the 3” inlets (B) Fig.5. In most
cases the hose is secured to the inlet using a 3” wire clamp.
5. If you plan to only connecting one hose to the dust collector during
operation, it will be necessary to install the 3” to 2” adaptor (C) Fig.5
to the unused inlet (B). Secure it to the unused inlet with a pan head
screw (D) and install the adaptor cap (E) to block air suction.
6. It is also possible to install 2” fireproof metal dust collection hose(s) to
the 3” to 2” adaptor(s) (C) Fig.5.
MAINTENANCE
AIR FILTERS & GENERAL CLEANING
For best performance, it is recommended on a regular basis to disloge
dust from the inside of both air filters (A) Fig.6, this is done by using low
pressure air hose. Unlatch and open the access door (B), unlatch air
filters (A), clean them and reinstall them.
Replace both air filters after a maximum of 800 hours of use. A 2pc.
5 microns replacement air filter kit (model: KM-101-see Fig.8) is
available, contact your distributor of King Canada products for more
