OPERATION 5-19
CAUTION
Moving the joystick forward and
backward will energize ports H
and G respectively. Moving the
joystick to the left and to the right
will energize ports E and F
respectively.
Be sure to connect the couplers
accordingly and verify that the
implement moves in the desired
direction.
The hoses must be connected
correctly so that the boom cylin-
der and bucket cylinder operate
independently.

HOW TO USE ATTACHMENTS WITH A
SINGLE ACTING CYLINDER (IF EQUIPPED)
Attachments with a single acting cylin-

can be
attached and used as follows.
1. Lock the changeover handle for single/
d o u b l e a c t i n g v a l v e t o t h e r i g h t
completely.
2. Insert the male coupler of the dump
trailer into the female coupler C.
3. When you move the control lever of
the single/double acting valve to the C
position, hydraulic pressure is applied
so that the cylinder is extended.
4. When you let go of the control lever, it
automatically returns to the neutral

WARNING
For your safety and best perfor-
mance, use only implements and
attachments approved for use
with your tractor.
Always be sure that hydraulic
couplers are clean. Contamina-
tion of the hydraulic system can
cause malfunctions, accelerated
wear and equipment damage.
Do not adjust hydraulic system
pressure settings. Never change
relief valve settings. Improper set-
tings can cause serious equip-
ment damage and personal injury.
5. When you move the control lever of
the single/double acting valve to the D
position, the cylinder retracts as the
load comes down by its own weight.
