- Selecting Front Ballast.
Add weight to front end if needed for stability.
Heavy pulling and heavy rear mounted
implements tend to lift front wheels. Add enough
ballast to maintain steering control and prevent tip
o v e r. Remove weight where it is no longer needed.
Front weights are available from your KIOTI
D e a l e r. Your dealer can help you decide how
much is required for your particular application.
NOTE :
• Additional ballast may be needed for
transporting heavy integral implements. When
implement is raised, drive slowly over rough
ground, regardless of how much ballast is used.
- Select rear ballast carefully.
Add weight to rear wheels if needed to improve
traction or for stability. Amount of rear ballast
should be matched to job and ballast should be
remove when it is not needed. Rear wheel weights
are available or liquid may be added to the tires.
Consult your KIOTI Dealer for the correct
ballasting necessary for your particular application.
Front distance should be 2 to 8mm (0.078 to
0 . 3 112 in.) less than rear distance [C.D - A.B]
To adjust toe-in loosen the lock nut and adjust the
length of the tie rod until proper toe-in
measurement is obtained. Retighten the lock nut.
