for Kirk Coffee Machine model KM6-2 and KM12-2
Congratulations with your new coffee machine.
Before you start using the machine it is important that you read this guide
thoroughly to make sure that the machine is installed correct and can be
used safely.
Installation guide
•
To gain full advantage of your coffee machine we recommend that the
machine is installed by trained personnel.
•
The coffee machine is designed to be mounted against a wall or similar
solid object. It is secured by screws through the 4 holes of the rear plate
of the machine.
•
The coffee machine is not to be placed unsecured on a shelf or other
horizontal base.
•
The coffee machine must not be mounted in locations where it can cause
injuries to driver or passengers in case of accidents or emergency
situations.
•
The coffee machine installation must not affect the function of the airbag
of the vehicle.
•
The cigar lighter plug of most vehicles does not allow electrical current
exceeding 8 Ampere. It is important to follow the installation instructions
below:
o
The red or grey wire from the coffee machine must be
connected to the starter motor, starter relay or the positive pole
of the battery.
o
The black or blue/grey wire has to be connected to the engine
block, vehicle chassis or the negative pole of the battery.
o
Measure the total wire length of the connections between the
coffee machine and supply points. Both the positive and
negative wires must be included in the total length.
o
It is important that the wire size is used to suit the current and
length of the connections.
