Manual Backup with Charger set to On 

CHG 

ON 

By-Pass 

Mode Display 

 

Unit is running in By-Pass mode. Both AC Output Hardwire and AC Output Socket are 
connected to AC Input Source. 
-  AC  Charger  is  enabled  and  will  charge  the  battery,  battery  icon  shows  Battery 

Charging stage. 

-  Inverter is in turned Off. 
-  Display shows battery voltage, DC Charging current, AC Input Power. 

‘Power’ indicator – On.  

‘AC Output’ indicator – On (AC Output Switch is turned On, AC Output is On). 

‘AC Output’ indicator – Off (AC Output Switch is turned Off, AC Output is Off). 

Note:  Press  and  hold  ‘ESCAPE’  button  for  5  seconds  to  toggle  AC  Output  Switch 
On/Off

‘Status’  indicator  –  solid  green  (battery  is  fully  charged)  or  flashing  green  (battery 
charging is in progress). 

Note: ‘Power’ button function is disabled in this stage. 

Blackout 

Display  

 

When  a  blackout  occurs,  Unit  will  not  provide  AC  Backup.  Display  remains  On  for  10 
seconds with the following appearance:  
-  Display  shows  battery  voltage,  DC  Current  discharge  from  battery  (0A),  AC  Output 

Power (0W) 

-  Battery icon shows estimated battery capacity. 
-  Inverter is disabled. 

‘Power’ indicator – On.  

‘AC Output’ indicator – Off (AC Output is not available due to the inverter being set to 
Manual Backup Mode 

– MBU). 

‘Status’ indicator – Off 

After 10 seconds, Display and unit will turn Off. 
 
If  AC  Input  Source  is detected,  unit  will  switch  back  to  By-Pass  Mode  automatically  in 
about 10 seconds. During the 10 second period, 

‘Power’ indicator turns On and ‘Status’ 

indicator remains Off.

 

Blackout and 

Manually

If  AC  Output  is  required  during  a  blackout, 

press  and  hold  the  ‘Power’  button  for  one 

second to turn On the inverter. 
-  Display shows battery voltage, DC Current discharge from battery, AC Output Power. 
-  Battery icon shows estimated battery capacity.  

‘Power’ indicator - On,  

‘AC Output’ indicator – On (AC Output Switch is turned On, AC Output is On). 

‘AC Output’ indicator – Off (AC Output Switch is turned Off, AC Output is Off). 

Note:  Press  and  hold  ‘ESCAPE’  button  for  5  seconds  to  toggle  AC  Output  Switch 
On/Off. 

‘Status’ indicator – solid amber. If it changes to flashing amber, it indicates AC Input 
Source is detected and will switch to By-Pass Mode shortly. 

Note:  During  blackout, 

‘Power’  button  can  be  used  to  temporarily  turn  inverter  Off  to 

save battery power if AC Output power is not required.
