Unplug cooktop or disconnect power.
2.
Remove the cooktop glass.
3.
Remove elements.
4.
Remove 11 screws that mount the
aluminum plate, and 1 ground screw.
Be sure to replace the ground screw
when reassembling,
see figure 1.

a) Disconnect the 3-wire fan connector
from power control board, see figure 3.
b) Remove two screws from the cooling
fan and lift the fan from the power
control board, see figure 4.
