The phase control can now be disassembled from
the bearing bracket, if necessary, by unscrewing the
#4-40 x 1/4” pan head screw (Figs. 19 & 20).

With a pair of needle nose pliers, carefully pry
off the governor assembly. (Fig. 21) Do NOT
bend.
Remove the governor drive pin and lay it aside so
it will not be lost (Fig. 22).
