Or wash by hand in soapy water; rinse and dry thoroughly.
8. Use a dampened soapy sponge or paper towel to clean the backsplash
and XL Griddle surface. Rinse sponge and wipe non-stick XL Griddle
surface dry.
9. For stubborn food particles, sprinkle baking soda directly on stained
areas. Moisten the baking soda by adding a few drops of water to form
a paste. Allow the paste to stand for up to an hour. Rub with a soft
damp cloth or use a plastic, non-scratch scouring pad until the stain is
lifted. To avoid damage to the non-stick surface, do not rub vigorously
when using a scrubbing pad.
10. Loosen cooked-on food with a plastic cleaning pad. Avoid hard scouring
of the non-stick finish as this may cause surface scratches. Do not use
steel wool, scouring pads, or abrasive cleaners on any part of the XL
Griddle.
11. Repeat procedure as needed.
NOTE: The performance of the non-stick coating will not be affected
due to stains.
