Cleaning and maintenance
Front surface, control panel and interior
• All surfaces and knobs should be cleaned with warm water and
a little detergent and a mild sponge or piece of cloth.
•
Then wipe the surfaces dry with a cloth or microfibre cloth.
Be sure to wait until the unit has cooled down to a safe tempera-
ture before cleaning.
To avoid the risk of scratches and damage to the surface of the glass,
stainless steel or aluminium front, pay particular attention to the
following cleaning instructions.
Aluminium front
Optically, the aluminium surface is influenced by the angle at which the
light falls on it.
Aluminium surfaces and controls may become discoloured or damaged
if exposed to the sun at all times. Please note that you should not place
these surfaces in this way.
You should also avoid the following cleaning agents:
• Cleaning agents containing soda, acid or chloride
• Abrasive cleaning agents, e.g. powder detergent or
• cleansing milk
• Scrubbing sponges, e.g. pot cleaner or
• sponges previously used for scouring milk
• Stainless steel cleaner
• Detergents containing descaling agents
• Dishwasher detergent
• Oven sprays
